Football’s future is being shaped not only on the pitch, but by the corporate leaders, visionary brands, and organisations investing in the game at every level.
The Global Football Industry Awards is now inviting clubs, companies, agencies, and individuals to nominate the unsung heroes powering football’s evolution behind the scenes.
Taking place on 20 November 2025 in London, the Global Football Industry Awards will bring together the sport’s most influential business leaders, organisations, and pioneering changemakers for a landmark celebration of off-the-pitch excellence.
From bold partners reshaping the commercial landscape to grassroots initiatives unlocking access and opportunity in underserved communities, these awards will shine a spotlight on those working tirelessly to grow the game – sustainably, inclusively, and globally.
Launching the awards, football legend and sports broadcaster Jamie Carragher said:
“Football doesn’t just happen on the pitch. It’s built by thousands of people working tirelessly behind the scenes – in clubs, brands, communities, and businesses – to grow the game for everyone. If you know someone making a real impact in the business of football, now’s the time to nominate and give them the recognition they deserve.”
Organisations, brands, and individuals from across the global football ecosystem are invited to submit nominations in a range of categories.
Entries will be judged by an expert panel of industry leaders, representing diverse perspectives across football, business, media, and social impact.
The corporate awards aim to amplify stories that often go unheard – celebrating the people and programmes powering football’s progress through innovation, leadership, and purpose-led work.
The Global Football Industry Awards mark the first event of its kind to celebrate the champions of the beautiful game working behind the scenes to drive success on and off the pitch.
Nominations are open until 01 August 2025 at www.globalfootballawards.com
