About the Nominations and Judging Process
The Global Football Industry Awards are built on the principle of recognising genuine excellence across every corner of the football business.
Our shortlist is compiled through an open nominations process, welcoming submissions from both the public and professionals working across the global football industry ensuring a diverse and representative pool of entries. This broad and inclusive approach helps to highlight the individuals, organisations, and initiatives truly making an impact behind the scenes of the game.
All shortlisted entries are then reviewed by a panel of judges drawn from across the football, media and business landscapes. The judging process is rigorous, fair, and fully independent with decisions made based on a detailed set of criteria tailored to each category.
This two-stage process ensures that every winner is selected on merit, reflecting the innovation, integrity, and impact that define the very best of the global football industry.
