England assistant manager Anthony Barry has been confirmed as a special guest at this year’s Global Football Industry Awards, where he will take part in an exclusive on-stage Q&A during the ceremony in London on Thursday 5 November 2026.
Barry, one of the most highly regarded coaches in international football and a key member of Thomas Tuchel’s England coaching team, will offer guests a fascinating insight into life at the highest level of the international game.
During the special Q&A, Barry will discuss England’s 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign, the challenges of competing on football’s biggest stage and his career to date.
The appearance promises to be one of the highlights of an evening celebrating the individuals, businesses and organisations helping to shape the future of the world’s most popular sport.
Barry has built an outstanding reputation as one of football’s brightest coaching minds, having previously worked with Chelsea, Bayern Munich and the national teams of Belgium and Portugal before joining Tuchel’s England set-up.
Renowned for his tactical expertise, innovative approach and attention to detail, Barry has established himself as an influential figure in elite football coaching.
The Global Football Industry Awards, now in their second year, will welcome more than 500 leading figures from across the international football industry, including senior executives, club representatives, governing bodies, global brands, broadcasters and innovators.
The ceremony recognises excellence across the business of football, celebrating achievements in commercial partnerships, technology, media, leadership, sustainability, grassroots development and community impact.
Jamie Carragher, co-host of the Global Football Industry Awards, said:
“To have someone of Anthony Barry’s calibre joining us on the night is absolutely fantastic. He’s one of the most respected coaches in world football and has worked at the very highest level of the game.
“The Global Football Industry Awards are all about bringing together the people who are shaping football, both on and off the pitch, and Anthony is a brilliant example of that. It’s going to be a fantastic night.”
The awards were established to recognise the often-overlooked individuals and organisations whose work behind the scenes drives football’s global success.
Following a successful inaugural ceremony in 2025, the 2026 event will once again bring together some of the biggest names in football and business for a celebration of achievement, innovation and leadership across the sport.
